You Should Get to Know.

IMG95201312319516380795825Each month we will be featuring a staff member for you to get to know! Our staff thinks of our consigners and shoppers as an extension of the Duck Worth Wearing family and we want to connect! This month you should get to know our very own Mollie Walter.

Who: Mollie Walter

Position:  Sales Associate at The Loft.

Past: Mollie grew up in Gilbert just north of Ames. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2001. After her graduation she worked for McFarland Clinic as an ophthalmic technician. After two wonderful years there, she started working in Cardiology as a cardiopulmonary technician as has been there for almost 10 years. She enjoys helping out her department on an as needed basis.

Present: Mollie began her work with The Loft  part time in the August of 2013.  She feels very blessed to be working at the Loft where she has the freedom to do what she loves most – being a mom. However, the position has caused her to have to give herself the pep talk that she is here to work, not shop!

In her spare time, Mollie loves to bake, read cookbooks, and of course spend time with her family.  Her family consists of her husband Dan, lieutenant with the Ames Police Department, and their two children, Hallie who is a 4th grader at Gilbert, and Mitch who is in kindergarten.

Future: Mollie feels fortunate to work in an environment she truly loves, and looks forward to meeting new people everyday and working with friends that have become family.

In Closing.

We hope you will make it a point to stop in and visit us this month at The Loft. Don’t forget to stop in the first week of February for our $5 bag deal.  While you’re here show your special valentine you care by picking up any number of great gifts here at The Loft.

Thank you for your business, and as always for shopping local!

Sincerely,
Amy Abrams
