Main Street Farmers Market
When: Saturdays now through October. 8am-12:30pm
Where: 300 & 400 Block of Main Street and the Tom Evans Park
What: The Ames Main Street Farmers Market is a community event with local vendors and producers bringing their best to sell and share! It’s a great time to start the weekend with family and friends as you stroll in the sunshine down Main Street. It will bring you conveniently closer to our front door which is only a few steps away from great deals on all things your family needs to save time and money!
Tax Free Weekend
When: Friday August 1st & Saturday August 2nd.
Where: The Loft
What: Stop by to take advantage of tax free shopping!
Please note the following dates for consignment acceptance of seasonal items.
- August 15th – We will begin accepting fall clothing which includes jeans, pants, long sleeve shirts, light weight jackets, and tall boots.
- September 15th – We will begin accepting winter clothing which includes winter coats and heavy sweaters.
We are currently taking jeans.

You Should get to Know.
Each month we will be featuring a staff member for you to get to know! Our staff thinks of our consigners and shoppers as an extension of the The Loft family and we want to connect! This month you should get to know our very own Hope Hancox.
Position: Sales Associate at The Loft & Duck Worth Wearing.
Past: Hope grew up in Centerville in a large family with five brothers and one sister.
Present: Hope is an active young woman as she participates in horseback riding, painting, running and most anything outdoors. When she is not busy outdoors she loves spending time with her friends.
Future: Hope has plans to graduate from Iowa State University with a Bachelor degree in design and a minor in business. With the completion of the degree she will set out to travel the world and plans to live happily ever after!
