New Product Alert!

We are so excited to announce we will be selling new bags by Christina Denekas!  Her website is We are currently carrying her super useful and stylish cross body bags,  messenger bags, and the market totes at The Loft. The bags are reversible and versatile, and the messenger bag is great for back to school. Check out the images below to get a sneak peek and also read more about the background of this amazing business.

Here is some information about Christina & Caroline and how these awesome products blossomed into a business.

We are Christina & Caroline and we’re two sisters who LOVE to sew! Our grandmother passed this love down to us…along with everything she knew about sewing. When we were in high school, she had a massive stroke. With God’s grace, she was able to stay with us on earth for another 10 years, but she lost her ability to speak and walk. All she could say was ‘so so so’. While out fabric shopping one day, we both had the same thought…what if Grandma wasn’t saying ‘so so so’ but ‘sew sew sew’!?! We never felt more empowered to begin our business, knowing she’d be watching over us along the way!! Fairycake Designs is our way of honoring this lady who nurtured in us a love for fabric, sewing, and all things handmade.

The business started out with us making reversible tote bags for our family & friends. We both teach and our totes are excellent for carrying all the books, papers and binders that teachers transport to and fro on a daily basis. It then grew to include dresses and other children’s items inspired by my daughter, and baby and toddler ‘must-haves’ inspired by my son. Fairycake Designs now makes everything from our classic reversible totes (available in new and adorable fabrics) to children’s reversible wrap dresses and hair accessories, pacifier clips, toddler ties, baby wipe cases, trendy reversible swaddle blankets and many more!

Make room for all of your clothes, jewelry, shoes, belts and scarves with these helpful solutions!

In Closing.
